Moving a Task to Another Application

If you face a situation where a task is not created in the right application, moving it from one application to another in a couple of clicks can be very useful. For example, there are software bugs related to different departments of your company. If a software bug is created in a department by mistake, it may be useful to move this bug to another application, thus moving it to the right department.

Moving to another application is available for a user, only if they have sufficient permissions both in the source application and in the target application.

To move a task to another application:

1. Open the task you want to move.

2. Click the «Move to Application» button in the Ribbon.

3. Select the task application.

4. Click the «Move» button.
