Managing Workspace Users And Security Settings
You can add workspace participants either by adding individual users or by adding groups of users. When you add workspace participants, you also assign a different set of permissions to them.
To manage workspace participants:
1. Select a workspace in the left part of the window and click the workspace title.
2. Click Security.
3. Choose a security permission you want to assign to a user in the left part of the window. A final set of permissions for a user also depends on the user role in Comindware Tracker: Comindware administrator, Comindware architect or an ordinary user.
- Comindware administrator:
- have full set of permissions in the workspace
- Comindware architect added as a workspace owner:
- have full set of permissions in the workspace
- Comindware architect added as a workspace viewer:
- can create tasks and docs in the workspace
- cannot create and manage applications
- cannot modify security settings
- Comindware user added as a workspace owner:
- can create tasks and docs in the workspace
- cannot create and manage applications
- can modify security settings
- Comindware user added as a workspace viewer:
- can create tasks and docs in the workspace
- cannot create and manage applications
- cannot modify security settings
4. Click Save & Close.
