About a Workflow

A workflow is a sequence of steps that should be performed to get your work done. Each workflow step has a task connected to it and assigned to a particular person. Steps are interconnected with transitions. Workflows help you automate your processes.

Each workflow is associated with a particular project and particular workflow task type, and is set up per each workflow application.
