This article describes the task change notifications functionality in Comindware Task Management. You will learn how to flexibly configure task notifications settings.
Description
Comindware Task Management has 2 types of settings for task notifications: global (managed by an administrator) and individual (managed by each user separately).
Global notification settings.
Global notification settings are located at Administration page and can be configured for each task group separately:

As seen from the screen shot above system administrators can modify global e-mail notifications settings for the following task events:
- Task created
- Any Task changed
- Task comment added
- Task comment edited
- Task deleted
- Task completed
Each of these events has the following settings:

As seen from the screenshot system administrators can configure individual e-mail notifications for certain users or user groups and specify recipient roles such as task creator, task owner or task follower.
Notifications settings configured by an administrator will be applied to the entire system and users' settings.
Individual notifications settings.
Individual notification settings can be modified by each user separately. You cannot prevent notifications configured by an administrator globally, but you can set up additional notifications that are not switched on for you.
Notifications can be configured through profile customization.
First open profile customization page:

Then select notification settings you need:

Finally, click "Save" to apply the changes.
