This article describes how to change an existing workflow on the fly while process execution is already running in Comindware Tracker.

Description

You can modify an existing Workflow by simply using the same toolset you used for creating it.

The following operations can be used to edit workflows:

Deleting an existing state:

1. Select the status you need to remove :

2. Click "Remove" button in the Ribbon menu :

3. Click "Save" button in the Ribbon menu :

Adding new state:

1. Drag and drop necessary status into the Diagram (if state is not available add new by pressing "New Status" button in the ribbon menu):

2. Rearrange transitions to include the status into the workflow :

3. Press "Save Workflow" button in the Ribbon menu :

Modifying existing status or transition:

1. Double click on the existing status:

2. Change necessary status or transition properties in the opened details window:

3. Press "Save" or "Save & Close" button to save changes:

4. Once modification is completed press "Save Workflow" button :
